Christmas Party

On Wednesday 18th December, the children in Rabbits, Badgers, Hedgehogs and Foxes will be having a ‘Christmas Party’ day (Nursery Party day is Friday 20th December – please see the Nursery Newsletter Autumn 2 on the Nursery class page on the website for all the information).

Children are invited to wear their party clothes/non-uniform as they will be participating in party games in the hall and Christmas activities throughout the day. The children will also be having party food – any party food donations from home would be greatly appreciated. Please do send any items in with your child in its original packaging so that we can check the allergens information. If you have not yet informed school of any food allergies, or your child has developed any new allergies, please do inform the office as soon as possible.

Staffing News

We would like to take this opportunity to say ‘thank you’ and ‘all the best’ to Mrs Johnstone as she leaves us to begin her maternity leave, and also a ‘welcome back’ to Mrs Booth who returns from her maternity leave to take up the class teacher role in Hedgehogs. Both teachers have met up to share information about the class and ensure a smooth transition.

NSPCC – Buddy’s big workout!

A huge thank you to everyone’s contribution to the NSPCC appeal. The children had a great day being active and were very proud to hand over a cheque for £975.53, which will support their work in keeping even more children safe. A fantastic effort, well done!

Parent Questionnaire

During the Christmas performances this week, the annual Parent Questionnaire was handed out. There has been a great response, however, if you didn’t get the chance to complete a questionnaire, please see Mrs Hibbert in the office.

Church Service – Thursday 19th December

On Thursday 19th December, all the children from Rabbits, Badgers,  Hedgehogs and Foxes will be walking to church to join the Christ Church School children in their Christmas Service. If any parent could join us at Tuel Lane at 9.00am to help walk with our children to and from church, this would be much appreciated. We should be back to school for approx. 10.30am.

Please let your child’s class teacher know if you are able to help.
