Merry Christmas
Another very busy but enjoyable term has come to an end. The children have made great progress since starting back in September and have made us all proud with what they have achieved. Also, a really big thank you to all of our parents and families who have been a brilliant support to the children and school this term, especially with the recent party food donations and festive fund raisers:
Christmas Jumper Day: £45.79 & Christmas Beanies: £62.00
(£107.79 donated to Overgate Hospice)
Christmas Raffle: £321.00
Christmas Market: £479.85
All the money raised from the raffle and the market will go into school funds to directly benefit our pupils.
From all the children, staff and governors at Tuel Lane, we would like to wish all of our families a very merry Christmas and a fantastic new year!

Parent Questionnaire
Thank you to everyone who completed the parent survey last week – 72 out of 88 families returned a form, which was very pleasing (if you missed the survey during the Christmas performances, please call into the office to collect one). Some of the highlights include:
- 99% of parents strongly agree/agree that their child is happy and feels safe at Tuel Lane.
- 100% of parents strongly agree/agree that the school makes parents aware of what their child will be learning.
- 100% of parents strongly agree/agree that their child does well at Tuel Lane.
- 96% of parents strongly agree/agree that the school supports their child’s wider personal development.
- 100% of our parents would recommend Tuel Lane Infant & Nursery School to another parent.
From the results of the survey, the area of school life that we will be looking to further develop in the new year will be the additional provision of clubs and activities for our children (see diary dates section!).
(Full results will be published in January, once anyone who has missed the survey has had chance to complete one).
