Much to our frustration, the school phone is still out of order.

It has been lovely to have all classes back in school and no new cases reported this week. The safety measures we are all taking at home and at school seem to be working but we are not complacent. We are keeping up our distancing when possible, face coverings at drop-off and collection times, additional cleaning and frequent hand washing.
If all goes to plan, we should be serving hot dinners again from the middle of next week, we will keep you informed.
As ever, if you think anyone in your household has Covid symptoms, do not send your child to school. Inside school, we are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe. Please act responsibly and if you have any doubts at all, phone us to check and talk things through.
Plans for Christmas
The short outdoor concerts will start at 2.45pm. The children will stand on one side of the playground and we will ask you to stand- safely distanced and spread out- on the other side.
Maximum two adults per family please. If it is pouring down, we will reschedule for the following week and let you know via email.
Foxes: Tuesday 8th December 2.45pm Badgers: Wednesday 9th December 2.45pm
Rabbits: Thursday 10th December 2.45pm Nursery: Wednesday 16th December 11.30am and again at 3pm.
We want to keep up as many Christmas traditions as possible and children enjoy sending and receiving cards. We must be careful about mixing and matching what comes into school and what goes home so here is the plan. Your child can bring their Christmas cards into school any time up until Friday 11th December.
We will then quarantine them over the weekend and send them home during the last week of term. It is all completely optional, if you choose not to send cards this year, that is fine.
School Christmas Dinner
Everyone can have a Christmas Dinner on Thursday 10th December.
If you usually send in your own packed lunch, you can still do that, or your child can have a festive dinner.
You do not need to let us know in advance but if you have any questions email Mrs Hibbert email@example.com
Rabbits, Badgers and Foxes will all be having a Christmas party in their classroom on Friday 18th December. School will provide a party snack and there will be dancing and party games. Your child is welcome to come to school in their Christmas party clothes.
Christmas Jumper Day
We’re raising money for Overgate Hospice on Friday 11th December. Please send your child in wearing a Christmas jumper, t-shirt, or any non-uniform this day along with some change to donate to Overgate.
