We’ve really missed having parents and carers into school over the past year, and we know how difficult it is for parents who haven’t been able to come in and see our lovely learning environment.
So that current, new and prospective future parents are able to see our bright, spacious and stimulating classrooms, we’ve had a virtual tour created. It’s available to view on our website:
Please take a look. We know it isn’t the same as coming inside the building but we hope it gives you a sense of what it feels like to be in our school, at least until we can welcome visitors in again.
Mrs Hibbert has had a delivery of school uniform arrive this week. If you need to order any uniform, please get in touch with Mrs Hibbert on 01422 831221 or firstname.lastname@example.org. There have been longer than usual delays on uniform orders being delivered into school from suppliers recently, so it may be a good idea to consider if your child may need new uniform for September and order it from us now.
If you know anyone with a garden or allotment who might have spare plants, we would welcome any donations of bedding plants, vegetable plants or houseplants. The children are learning about growing things and we are keen to get them involved in planting and ‘greening-up’ the school inside and out this summer. Thank you.
We chose not to celebrate World Book Day in March as it fell when school was closed to the majority of pupils due to the lockdown. We know that both the staff and children love to celebrate reading with a special day dedicated to books, so we will be having a whole school book day on Friday 11th June. We will be asking children to dress up as a favourite book character as part of the celebrations. We’ll be in touch closer to the time with more details.
