Individual School Photographs
Tempest Photographers will be in school next Friday (8th October) to take individual photos of each child. If you have more than one child in school and wish for an additional photo to be taken with siblings together, please email Mrs Hibbert on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try our best to accommodate this. Please note that we will not gather siblings for group photos unless we receive an email request.
A message from our governors…
A warm welcome to all children and parents/carers of Tuel Lane from the governors. We hope you are settling into the new routines of school life after the summer break.
In this section of the newsletter we aim to give you a better idea of who we are and what we do. It may seem that the school’s governing body is a mysterious group, but the reality is that we are a mixed group of people from different backgrounds who share one common interest: ensuring that the school is being managed in a way that guarantees your children receive the best learning environment and outcomes.
We work ‘behind the scenes’ meeting with the staff and children to support in driving the school’s vision and improvements forward. We aim to make sure that money is well spent, children are safeguarded and all children are making progress in every aspect of school life. Many of the governors have had children attend Tuel Lane or still have their children here. We, therefore, can understand parental/carer concerns or worries all too well so we are very approachable and more than happy to hear from you about any issues or feedback you may have (both positive and negative).
Watch this space for introductions to each governor and the role they have within the governing body.

We will be holding an open morning for prospective new parents on Saturday 6th November between 9.30 and 11.30am. If you have a child currently in our Nursery, we would love to see you there. If you can’t make the open day, please do ring or email to book an individual appointment to look around school.
We would appreciate if all parents and carers could let anyone with a child approaching school age know.
